Refund terms

We deliberately give this its own document, because this is where most misunderstandings start. Please read it before paying.
1. The deposit
The USD 100 deposit covers day one and day two: the brief, competitor analysis, domain selection and a page prototype.
Once day one has begun the deposit is non-refundable, because it pays for work already carried out.
If work has not yet started, the deposit is refunded in full within five banking days by the same method it was paid.
2. Stopping after the prototype
If the Client decides not to continue after seeing the prototype, the prototype and the competitor analysis remain theirs and can be handed to any other contractor.
The deposit is not refunded in this case, and no balance is charged.
3. Missed deadline on our side
If the Contractor misses the agreed delivery date through their own fault by more than three working days, the Client may end the engagement and receive the deposit back in full.
Delays caused by late materials, access or approvals from the Client are not covered by this clause.
4. After delivery
Payments for work that has been accepted and paid for are not refunded. If defects that contradict the brief are found within a week of delivery, we fix them at no charge.
